Ticket Terms

A ticket grants you entrance to the event. Taking part in programme items is also included, but the amount of participants or seats available might be limited depending on the programme items in question, and the possibility to take part is not guaranteed. The ticket also includes floor accommodation at the venue (1-2 nights, depending on the ticket type), using your own sleeping bag and sleeping pad.

Academic seminar tickets are sold separately. 

Some programme items may have a separate material fee, which must be paid at the venue. Please check our website for more information on specific costs and how to sign up for programme items.

Ticket Delivery

E-tickets will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. Take your ticket with you when you come to the event. The ticket will be exchanged for a wristband at the venue and will allow you entrance to the event for as long as your ticket is valid. The person ordering the tickets does not need to be the same person as the one using them. 

Ticket Payment

The tickets are paid at purchase and purchases are processed through Paytrail. Tickets must be paid using a Finnish online banking service, a credit card (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) or MobilePay. If possible, we kindly ask you to opt for online banking.

Tickets can also be purchased at the entry to the venue. Accepted payment methods at the venue are cash or card.

Ticket Types 

Admission is free for attendees under 7 years and over 65 years of age. Accompanying caretakers or assistants and interpreters are granted free access with the attendee. 

Weekend tickets grant you entrance to the event for the weekend.

One-day tickets grant you entrance to the event on a specific day. A one-day ticket can be upgraded to a weekend ticket after purchase.

Children’s tickets grant an entrance to the event for children 7 to 12 years of age when accompanied by a paying adult. An adult ticket is needed for anyone over 12 years old. 

Family ticket package contains 2 tickets for adults (or person’s over 12 years old) and 1-3 children tickets, all tickets are weekend tickets.

Fairy Godparent ticket donates a weekend ticket to someone applying for an Fairy Godparent ticket. Fairy Godparent tickets will be available until July 16th 2023.

Early Dragon -tickets will be available until June 30th 2023. After this all tickets will be the same price online and at the entry to the event venue.

Day tickets and regular-priced weekend tickets are available from July 1st 2023, and are on sale at the entry to the event venue after the event starts.

Exchange and Cancellation Policy

A ticket can be exchanged or canceled for 14 days after the purchase. However, the possibility to exchange and cancel tickets ends one week before the event. The customer will be reimbursed for the exchanged or canceled tickets excluding the possible transaction costs. To exchange or cancel a ticket please contact lipunmyynti@ropecon.fi. The barcode on the ticket will be canceled and the ticket can no longer be used. Exchanging or canceling tickets after the deadline is not possible.

Event Cancellation

In case of event cancellation the purchased ticket is valid for the next year’s event. You can also be reimbursed for the canceled tickets as per our exchange and cancellation policy. For reimbursements contact lipunmyynti@ropecon.fi

Terms of Payment

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Plc is a licensed payment institution. For reclamations, kindly primarily contact the website where the payment was made.
